Description: Art Detour, Seattle’s largest open-studio event, aims to broaden awareness of the visual arts and to promote a dynamic art community by creating access for all to explore where and how art is made. It presents a unique opportunity for artists to foster connections with individuals who are curious about the creative process. The end result is a deeper awareness of the livelihood of the visual

Working Artists, LLC's mission is to provide empowering environments for creative professionals, emerging or established, whose work fuses art and social contribution.

Some of the projects produced by Working Artists’ members include:
* contribute artworks to fundraising projects for non-profits and social change organizations,
* create educational projects about the arts and the power of the arts in society,
* conduct applied arts workshops in prisons and schools to facilitate healing and recovery, and more.

A vital component to our social contribution aspect is to help artists become successful businesspeople. We offer Artist-as-Entrepreneur workshops, courses and mentorship programs to artists who are committed to being successful in the business of art, and provide a myriad of real-world avenues for them to practice those skills and learning.

Out of these programs, Working Artists’ provides:
1)     art, dance and other arts-based classes in private and group settings to everyday folk,
2)     awareness and fundraising programs for charitable organizations
3)     curation services for commercial businesses and large apartment or condominium complexes
4)     artist project development resources for projects that reach into the local communities, and
5)     produce unique arts events, classes, training programs, and more brought to us by people with big ideas who want professional assistance.

SeattleArtists.com was created with both the Artist and the art lover/buyer in mind. For the Artist we provide a place where they can create a directory listing, showcase their artwork in a portfolio format and optionally sell their work direct online. Artists can set prices and descriptions and allow buyers to either contact them for more information or to purchase the item right there from their SeattleArtists.com online gallery. For the art lover & buyer, we provide access to some of the best hidden talent in the local area. Any type of Artist and business can join. A basic directory listing is free but Artists can choose a Gallery membership as well.

Description: CoCA serves the Pacific Northwest as a catalyst and forum for the advancement, development, and understanding of contemporary art. The Pound Gallery is located in Seattle Washington. We exhibit the work of local, national and international emerging artists as well as a few juried group shows a year. We are a funky art gallery and store located in the fantastic neighborhood of Capitol Hill in Seattle, Washington. We created this space to feature art work in all its various forms. We opened our doors in December 2002. Bluebottle Art Gallery is an independent alternative gallery space. We feature both individual and group shows on a monthly, rotating basis. Individual shows will primarily feature emerging local artists. Artist receptions are held on the first Saturday of each month from 7 pm to 11pm. Come join us! Bluebottle Store features high-quality functional and gallery artwork by innovative artisans. There are many talented local artists producing work that can be used in our everyday lives. Our retail venue allows these artists to display and sell their work on a continuing basis.
