ActivSpace at WestSeattle This time we venture across Duwamish Head to West Seattle, not far from where Seattle's first settlers landed in 1851. In 1907 Luna Park, known as the ‘Coney Island of the West,’ was erected not far from the site. It only existed seven years but the name lives on. We join existing artisans at Luna Park, blowing glass, making candles and a company that provides model-railway enthusiasts with every conceivable part to pursue their passion. Situated on the much-used bike path that links the Duwamish and Alki Beach trails, our new building opened in May 2004. |
